Thanks to our volunteers at the
April 25th Earth Day event
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On Sat., April 25
(10am-4pm), we had our first Slow Food display table at the
Cape May County Earth Day event at the Cape May County Zoo. Judy
Love and Bobbi Cappelli set up. Marguerite Chandler provided two
display boards (4 panels), and Barbara Hoepp created the display.
Judy coordinated volunteers in 2-hr. shifts (starting at
8:15am-4:15pm) and sent out the schedule in advance to everyone with
names & phone numbers. 12 volunteers "manned" the
table: they were Judy, Bobbie, Nina Singleton, Joan Jackson, Elaine
Nelson, Rhonda Griffin, Hope Gaines, Nancy Mansfield, Barbara Johnson,
Amanda & Chris Curly and Annie Mullock.
