What are we eating?
Food.
There's plenty of it around, and we all love to eat it. But
most of what we're consuming today is not food, and how we're
consuming it--in the car, in front of the TV, and increasingly
alone--is not really eating. Instead of food, we're consuming
"edible foodlike substances," meat and fish loaded with
antibiotics, and highly processed food filled with salt, sugar,
calories and chemicals. Join us and let's talk food!

*Slow
Food (as different from "fast food") highlights the
importance of food that is
primarily
local,
seasonal, and fresh. Slow Food is good for the person who eats
it,
good
for the person who grows it, and good for the planet.
